A Flood Took Ursa's Castle
(#9 of 60)

Three versions are offered below: Ursa as female, male, and transgender or gender neutral. The gender neutral or transgender pronouns are: Ve (pronounced "vee"), Ver ("vur"), Vers ("vurz"), and Verself ("vurself").

A Flood Took Ursa's Castle

female symbol
_A flood took Ursa’s castle. Each rectangular block dissolved in a swirl of water. The water took her away from her place, spun her around, and brought her back. The only thing left was a concrete slab. Ursa lay panting on the slab, washed out. Mud covered the land.

“I could build a farm here,” Ursa thought.
