The following recordings were taped from a CD player that had the talent of skipping while advancing ever so slightly, creating a hypnotic and edgy ambient sound (or irritating, depending on your musical orientation). The occurrences were rare -- only three times in a two-year heavy listening period -- and seemingly had nothing to do with the quality of the CD. The first occurrence was not recorded.
