Open Box

"Open Box" showcases a decade of collaborative work between Joe Hart and Danwahl. They create constructions -- sculptural assemblages -- in a process-oriented way. In 2010, the artists bumped up their level of collaboration by giving each other nearly-finished works, constructions that had come as far as each person could take them, for the other person to complete.

The artist's name of Heartwall is given for those works created by two minds, two souls, and four hands, an union resulting in a "person" who is much more than any two individuals.
