Ursa Watched a Horror Movie
Early Disney. He sat on a sofa and watched a grand piano floating, white and smiling, playing music with its white white teeth. Even the black teeth were white. Beneath it were sheep, dancing a jig on the bright green grass. The face of the piano changed. Its teeth became two rows of triangles. The minor keys looked dark with disease. The piano dropped down like the bed of a mowing machine, chewing grass and sheep and spitting out the parts. The face of the piano grew red with rage or blood. The music clashed discordantly. The piano ran out of musical ideas, and parked its carcass under a tree. The sheep fertilized the grass, which grew a little longer every year. The grass grew tall. The tree withered and fell and a new one sprouted. The field became a prairie. The bones of the piano lay scattered, weathered white. Ursa Watched a Horror Movie
